About Tiwaiwaka Winery: https://www.tiwaiwakawines.co.nz
Tiwaiwaka Wines is a family business, run by husband and wife team Morton and Elise Anderson. From grape growing to pouring a tasting glass at cellar door and everything in between, Morton and Elise do it all.
After five years in the heart of South Australia’s wine country, Mort and Elise returned to New Zealand, settling in the renowned wine region of Martinborough. In August 2002, they found their perfect patch—a 5-acre vineyard and winery that would become Tiwaiwaka. Just a year later, their passion bore fruit with Tiwaiwaka’s first vintage in 2003, marking the beginning of their hands-on winemaking journey.
At Tiwaiwaka, every bottle tells a story of dedication and craft. Morton and Elise personally tend to their vineyard nurturing each vine to produce grapes of exceptional quality. From growing and harvesting to bottling and labelling, they oversee every step of the process, ensuring that each wine reflects the care and passion that goes into it.
