Pocket Art Market – PAM – is a curated artist market celebrating student, emerging, and independent creatives. PAM provides an opportunity to showcase and sell works while connecting with the University of Sydney community.

Hosted at the iconic Great Hall in USYD’s Quadrangle, PAM is bringing contemporary purpose to the venue. The market presents a range of offerings at student-accessible price points, designed to fit right into the purchaser's pocket (or tote bag)!

Taking place as part of USU Creative Month 2026, PAM supports original creative practice, encourages entrepreneurship, and fosters a vibrant art culture on campus.

THE ART OF SNAIL MAIL with MARTINA CALVI

Snail mail is back! Join artist and author Martina Calvi for a playful workshop celebrating analogue connection and her upcoming book, The Art of Snail Mail.

Cut, collage, sticker, stamp and write your way to a one-of-a-kind piece of mail art for someone you love, a pen pal, or your future self. Take inspiration from Martina’s projects, play with a table full of crafty materials, and rediscover the simple joy of making something by hand.

No craft experience or perfect handwriting required- just come ready to make something worth sending.

UPCYCLE MOBILE MAKING with MADI FEIST

Join artist Madi Feist for a hands-on workshop exploring balance, movement, and expression. Using wire, upcycled found objects, and salvaged materials, you'll create kinetic faces inspired by Alexander Calder's 1943 piece Little Face.

You’ll leave with your own piece of mail art, ready to take home and pop in the post.

Workshop ticket fees will be refunded to all USU members upon record of attendance.
