Get ready to turn up the heat in tropical paradise! Heatwave LGBTQIA+ Festival returns to Port Douglas from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th February 2027 for three fabulous days celebrating love, pride, music, community and pure Far North Queensland fun. 🌈✨

Set against the stunning tropical backdrop of Port Douglas, Heatwave brings together incredible DJs, drag performers, entertainment and local talent for a weekend designed to make you dance, laugh, connect and celebrate.

Whether you're part of the LGBTQIA+ community, an ally, a local or visiting paradise for the weekend — everyone is welcome. Come as you are, bring your friends and prepare for three days where Port Douglas gets a whole lot more fabulous.

The ultimate Heatwave finale. Sunshine, poolside beats, performers and tropical party vibes as we close the festival in true Port Douglas style.
