A Rich Experience in Song and Brass Instrumental Music

Rooted in the rich Welsh tradition of four-part harmony, the choir still delivers the kind of sound that can leave you spellbound. These days about 65 voices make up the group, drawn from all corners of the metro area, from Mandurah and Fremantle to Quinns Rocks.

Over the decades, the choir has become a familiar presence at concerts and community events across the state and beyond. There’s been travel too, with a tour of the Cotswolds and South Wales culminating at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where they joined a massed choir in a performance still talked about by many with a glint in the eye.

More recently, a 2024 tour through Chester and North Wales saw the group performing alongside some of the region’s finest choirs. Less formal moments involved spontaneous singing in Chester announced by the Chester town crier and on the top of Mount Snowdon to the delight of passing onlookers.

And to make this an even more memorable experience WA Brass will join the celebration.
