Isaiah Rashad presents music from his third studio album, It's Been Awful, released May 1. The record broadens his sound beyond hip-hop into cosmic jazz, psychedelic guitar rock, Soulquarian neo-soul and genre-blurring experimentation. Its songs address addiction, growth, self-confrontation and redemption through an introspective, emotionally direct approach. His catalogue also includes Cilvia Demo, The Sun's Tirade and The House Is Burning; highlighted tracks include “Wat's Wrong” with Kendrick Lamar and Zacari, and “Pretty Little Birds” with SZA.
