Discover one of the Waikato's favourite country markets at the Tamahere Country Market, a vibrant open-air market showcasing the very best produce, food, crafts, and products that are made, grown, and created in New Zealand.

Held in the grounds of the Tamahere Church on the corner of Airport Road (SH21) and Tamahere Drive, just south of Hamilton, the market has something for everyone.

With over 80 Stalls, you will find everything from fresh produce, cheeses and salamis, plants, garden art, woodcraft, artwork, children's clothing, crafts, and pre-loved treasures to delicious food including Barista coffee, Devonshire teas, homemade fudge, Sourdough bread, the famous Tamahere Market bacon and egg butties, and plenty of other treats. Add in live buskers and a great market atmosphere, and it's the perfect way to spend a morning.

The market is dog friendly, has Eftpos available for cash withdrawals, cycle racks, and plenty of parking nearby, including accessible parking next to the church driveway.

Parking is available on Tamahere Drive (paddock opposite Church grounds). Disabled parking adjacent to the Church driveway - display disabled sticker or drop off and pick up.
