Join us for the launch of the new exhibitions at Manly Art Gallery & Museum.
Michael Muir: The Shape of Colour is a major survey exhibition celebrating more than a decade of work by one of the Northern Beaches’ most accomplished contemporary painters. Through vibrant colour, rich texture and dream-like landscapes, Muir explores memory, place and perception.
Beginning with the colonial naming of Manly, Girly in Manly brings together works by Kate Bohunnis, Anne Ferran, Maddison Gibbs and Ebony Russell to explore femininity through ideas of inheritance, care, creativity and connection to place.
