Yoga Nidra, often described as yogic sleep, is a deeply restorative guided practice that invites you into the space between wakefulness and sleep. No previous yoga or meditation experience is needed, just come as you are.
During this 75-minute session, you’ll be guided into a comfortable resting position while gentle prompts lead your awareness through the body, breath and imagination. As the mind begins to settle, the nervous system has an opportunity to soften, reset and restore.
You can expect:
A brief arrival and grounding practice
Gentle breath awareness
A fully supported Yoga Nidra meditation
Deep physical and mental rest
Space to slowly return and reconnect with yourself
You won’t need to move through yoga postures or do anything “perfectly.” Simply lie back, get cosy and listen to the guidance. You may remain awake, drift in and out, or fall asleep, there is no wrong way to experience Yoga Nidra.
Please bring anything that will help you feel comfortable, such as a blanket, pillow or eye mask. Yoga mats are provided. Leave feeling calmer, clearer and more deeply connected to yourself.
