Breathe with the Birrarung returns
Our Yarra, Birrarung: one living entity, cared for by many, caring for all.
Want to experience a nature connection and eco-therapy session that celebrates our connection to the natural world and Birrarung (the Yarra River)?
Come along to our fourth ‘Breathe with Birrarung’ event, again on the magical Herring Island in partnership with Parks Victoria. Run by local mindfulness teacher and counsellor, Marion Miller, this free event invites you to slow down, breathe, immerse your senses in nature, and learn to appreciate Birrarung as a living entity.
Experience:
Guided Nature Meditation & Poetry: Grounding practices to awaken the senses.
Sharing Circle: A safe space to explore our personal and collective care for nature.
Creative Exploration: Expressing our connection and heartfelt love for the river.
Connection Ritual: Reflecting on the past, present, and future role of Birrarung.
Mindful Nature Walk: Integrating practice with a gentle, immersive stroll along the riverbank.
