Introduction to Proportion with Artist Pina Bartolo
In this workshop, you will be introduced to basic construction and Proportion of the Classical standing figure.Learn how to create a simple line frame and build shapes to represent anatomical segments, progressing to 3D forms using a life model. All materials will be supplied, however you are welcome to bring your sketchbook and preferred drawing material. Seating is limited to 10 participants.

Pina Bartolo is a figurative artist with a passion for the spaces we inhabit, physical, personal and psychological. She is most interested in perspective, the effect of light on form, and the construction of a composition.
Drawing and observation from life have always been the foundation of her practice, working plein air, setting up models, or arranging objects and flowers into balanced compositions.
She is an experienced educator in painting, Life drawing, and Portraiture, believing that everyone is inherently creative.
Pina has been a Resident Artist at the One+2 Studios Rozelle since 2009.
