Em celebrates the 12 vinyl release of her debut album Phases on the 8th of October at The Apartment (202 K Road). The night will include a set of Em with band playing through some of her favourite tracks from the record (including new single Later), a listen through the record on vinyl, and opportunity to buy the vinyl at mates rates.

Em celebrates every release with a listening party, this is the first such event open to the public, along with a rare glimpse of Em playing live. You don't want to miss it!

Tāmaki-based indie-pop artist Em (Emily Wheatcroft-Snape) announces the release of her album “Phases” on 12-inch vinyl, and accompanying single “Later”, on the 9th of October. Originally released in 2024, Phases collated Em’s two previous EPs, Tender and Cloud City, and additional tracks to make the album. Em is now introducing three previously unfinished tracks to complete the narrative in 2026. The album’s continuous creation draws on Em’s growth as an artist, passion for her production craft, and her reflective process. The album is cyclic, Em says, a representation of my internal journey and how it evolves over time.
