Jenny Rix is an Australian artist whose practice explores line, shadow and composition through photography and botanical sculpture. Using naturally shed Australian flora, pods and fronds, Jenny creates intricate sculptural works that reveal the beauty and character of these materials. Her work has been exhibited in Australia and France and is held in institutional and private collections. Jenny will give a 20-minute botanical weaving demonstration in her studio, with participants encouraged to try their hand at botanical weaving.
