The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill sits somewhere between a personal diary and a cultural statement, featuring timeless songs of love, heartbreak, identity, and growth. Songs like Ex-Factor, Doo Wop (That Thing) Every Ghetto, Every City and Nothing Even Matters - with each song putting forward powerful statements revolving around self-respect and emotional honesty.

The iconic album is an organic blend of hip-hop, R&B, soul, and reggae, featuring classroom interludes with students talking about love and life, which tie into the “miseducation” theme—questioning what we’re taught versus what we actually experience

Experience this iconic album played in full by an extraordinary 9-piece band at the Lyric's Underground for one night only!
