Del Amitri bring Past to Present: Four Decades of Their Greatest Hits to New Zealand, spanning material from their early indie beginnings through their international chart success. The career-spanning programme includes songs associated with their 1989 breakthrough album Waking Hours, including “Nothing Ever Happens” and “Kiss This Thing Goodbye,” alongside later hits “Always the Last to Know” and “Roll to Me.” Formed in Glasgow in 1982 by Justin Currie, with guitarist Iain Harvie a long-standing creative presence, the band have released seven studio albums. They returned from a 2000s hiatus for reunion tours and released Fatal Mistakes in 2021, their first new collection in 18 years; they are also recording a new album for release later in 2026.
