The BAr BAzAAr brings a taste of Naples to West End! Kick off the night with an Italian dance and tunes jam, then experience the infectious energy, rhythms and songs of Ars Nova Napoli on their first Australian tour.

For the first time ever, Ars Nova Napoli are touring Australia, bringing their exhilarating blend of southern Italian tradition and contemporary Nu Folk to audiences across the country.Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience one of Naples' most exciting live bands in the intimate surrounds of Mirrorball Ministries, right in the heart of West End.

Expect an unforgettable evening of rhythm, passion and Mediterranean energy as the band reimagines traditional songs alongside their own original compositions, creating a sound that is deeply rooted in heritage yet vibrantly modern. From their beginnings as street musicians in Naples to performances at Lincoln Centre and major festivals across five continents, Ars Nova Napoli have built an international reputation for their electrifying stage presence and infectious party groove.

The touring ensemble features Marcello Squillante (accordion, vocals), Bruno Belardi (double bass), Michelangelo Nusco (violin, trumpet, vocals), Antonino Anastasia (frame percussion), Vincenzo Racioppi (mandolin, vocals), and Gianluca Fusco (guitar, accordion, vocals).

7:00 PM - Southern Italian Dance & Music Jam

Join David De Santi (Zumpa and Good Tunes) and Anna Cerreto (Taranta Meanjin) to learn traditional Italian folk tunes and dances. Musos will use Zumpa, a tune book developed for folk musicians. Dancers will get to know some traditional rhythms, steps and styles before dancing with Ars Nova Napoli live. Whether you're new to Southern Italian dance and music or already love the repertoire, come and join in - everybody welcome.
