Tuhi-Ao will take you through a quick cold pack bottling technique. Unheated ingredients are packed directly into jars, then covered with a boiling liquid. Bring your own jars (with undented metal screw lids), and fruit or vegetables you would like to bottle.

This event is designed to be attened in conjunction with the Transformation & Restoration event immediately before.

Bus:
We encourage you to catch the bus to this event. Bus times below allow you to attend Transformation & Restoration as well as Quick Cold-Pack Bottling. Let the driver know to stop at Tuhi-Ao Baileys place. Te Pahi bus timetable - if you purchase a Bee card it will be cheaper.
From New Plymouth please catch the #106, 11am bus, returns 3.10pm.
From Ōpunakē please catch the #106, 2pm bus, returns 6.10pm.

Parking is limited for accessible visitors only.
Alternatively, park in Pungarehu and meet outside the Town Hall. Tuhi-Ao will shuttle you to her property. By prior arrangement only. Please indicate if you need this option on checkout.
