THE SCHIZOPHONICS (USA)

Exploding out of San Diego like a turbocharged, raw force of true blue rock ’n’ roll chaos, people, prepare yourselves for the return of The Schizophonics.

The power trio has made its name with electrifying live shows that combine the fuzz-soaked freakout of proto-punk pioneers like The Stooges and MC5 with the sweat and swagger of James Brown and Little Richard.

With Lety Beers’ distinctive R&B-inspired drumming and Sarah Linton’s Sabbath-infused bass lines providing the rock-solid foundation for frontman Pat Beers’ wild dancing and gravity-defying one-handed guitar playing, the Schizos unleash a fuzz-soaked, funk-fuelled sonic attack built on pounding rhythms and feral energy that’s been honed to a razor edge after years of touring. Electrifying good times!
