The Detroit-born singer, bassist, actress, author and radio host began performing in her family’s Art Quatro Trio, then played with her sister Patti in The Pleasure Seekers from age 14. Her 1973 worldwide No. 1, “Can the Can,” was followed by “48 Crash,” “Devil Gate Drive” and the US duet “Stumblin’ In.”
