A world premiere for South Australian film!

Come join us at SWAN for our 5th year! For our third ever feature screening we have a TWO FEATURE FRENZY! Watch two amazing long-form films in the screening and meet some amazing filmmakers afterwards.

DRIFTHER SYNOPSIS: For a long time motorsport - in particularly the sport of Drifting - was male dominated. But in 2018, that all changed. A group of women wanted to disrupt the norm and bring some ‘buns to the sausage fest’, thus the Glitter Gang was born.

LIFE WE'VE KNOWN SYNOPSIS: Life We've Known is a short documentary exploring Matrescence — the profound physical, emotional, hormonal, and social transformation of becoming a mother.

When: Saturday the 17th October, arrive at 12pm for a short networking session before the screening. Event ends at 3pm.

Where: The Backlot Perth, 21 Simpson St, West Perth.

What: SWAN - Perth International Women In Film Festival. West Australia’s own film festival dedicated to celebrating powerful women in film from all over Australia and around the world! We’re all about celebrating the female perspective and creating a positive environment for interaction between legendary female filmmakers, film buffs and more.
