Spend the day wandering through a thoughtfully curated collection of homes and gardens set against the scenic backdrop of the Christchurch foothills. Just a short 20min drive from the city, this self-guided tour offers a unique opportunity to explore spaces that range from character-filled historic properties to striking contemporary designs, each with it's own story and inspiration.

The experience begins from 9.15am, when you collect your official tour map from Tai Tapu School. This map serves as your guide and entry to the homes and gardens, which will be open from 10.00am to 4pm. As you make your way around the tour, you’ll have the chance to meet some of the passionate homeowners behind these beautiful spaces, enjoy an exhibition, a demonstration and browse a selection of plants available for purchase.

There will also be a variety of inviting spots to pause along the way, with coffee and lunch options available in and around several of the gardens, making it easy to relax and take in the surroundings at your own pace.

All proceeds from this event go towards supporting the Tai Tapu School PTA and Ladbrooks School PTA.

The event will go ahead rain or shine, so come prepared to enjoy a memorable day out regardless of the weather.

Our limited VIP tickets include a private chauffeur driven luxury car for the day, champagne, and priority entry to all the gardens. ~ Early Bird & General Admission Tickets ~

A collection of homes and gardens in Tai Tapu and surrounding area will be presented as a self-guided tour package at $80 for the early bird tickets. Once this offer expires General Admission Tickets are $90 (+ $1.75 Eventfinda fee and 2.5% credit card fee).

Please note: this is a child‑free event.

A variety of lunch and coffee options will be available from food and coffee trucks situated in various locations marked on your map.
