RNZB dancers, together with Laura McQueen Schultz, Rehearsal Director & Rehabilitation Coach, will share the fascinating world of pointe shoes. Discover how dancers prepare and customise a new pair, how shoes are coloured to complement costumes, and the strength and training required to dance en pointe, day after day.

Over refreshments, chat with RNZB dancers and fellow ballet lovers in the special surroundings of the Jon Trimmer Studio. You’ll also have the opportunity to view a stunning display of tutus from past RNZB productions.
