Leather Journal Cover Workshop

Sun 20 Sep 10am - 12:30pm

Studio Ella Jackson, Hobart

Learn to make your own leather journal cover and start your journal ecosystem in style! Taking inspiration from the viral Louise Carmen or the gorgeous Dejà Vu Journals.

Using upcycled leather offcuts rescued from local Tasmanian crafters, you'll handcraft an A6 journal cover complete with your choice of elastic cord, hardware colours, and three charms. Every piece is one-of-a-kind: because we work with upcycled leather, your colour is a surprise — part of the magic!

NEWS: We have added a new ticket option for a larger-size journal cover that fits A5 journals! I sourced Australian leather for these tickets, which means it is not upcycled local leather like the standard ticket offers.

In two hours, you'll leave with a finished journal cover and the skills to make more at home in any size you like. All tools, templates, and step-by-step instructions are provided, plus links to online resources to keep creating long after the workshop ends.

Set inside Ella Jackson's beautiful leather studio in Bellerive, you'll be inspired at every turn. Come unleash your inner maker!

Feel free to contact me if you would like a date added; the more the merrier. As long as we have enough participants and the venue is available, I want to serve the community and meet your needs.

Little tip: If you have charms or pendants you love, bring them :)
