SEE ME. HEAR ME. KNOW ME.

A Mental Health Awareness Film Festival 12–16 October

Please note: Some films may contain themes, scenes or content that may be distressing for some viewers. Please take care of yourself and choose the films that are right for you.

Five nights. Five powerful stories. One community.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re bringing our community together through the power of film.

See Me. Hear Me. Know Me. is a FREE five-night film festival exploring mental health, addiction, recovery, identity, whānau, friendship and the simple human need to feel seen, heard and connected.

Inspired by this year’s theme, Belonging Matters, each evening features a different film with a story that can make us think, feel, connect and perhaps see life through someone else’s eyes.

Free Community Event

There is no cost to attend, but spaces are limited for each movie, so tickets must be booked by registering through Eventfinda.

Food will be available to purchase at the venue

You don't need to work in mental health. You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to share your story.

Just come as you are

Because sometimes a movie starts a conversation. Sometimes a conversation creates understanding. And sometimes feeling understood reminds someone that they belong.

SEE ME. HEAR ME. KNOW ME.

Movies that connect. Stories that matter.

You belong here.
