Welcome to Glitter Gel Pen Book Club, a Sydney meet-up for like-minded girlies who want to romanticise their lives, read sugary romance novels, and yap about them IRL. We’re here for the “frivolous” feel-good fiction, creating a space to unapologetically enjoy and discuss books beyond the 19th-century literary canon. So if you’re in your twenties or thirties, craving a little escapism, and love a rom-com with your rosé in an aesthetic setting, consider this your new favourite cal invite.

Silent Book Club, Reimagined

As seen on The Today Show, our September Silent Reading Session is here!

In collaboration with Coping Studio, we invite you to join us after work, settle in with a glass of wine, and carve out an hour reserved entirely for yourself.

Bring whatever you’re currently reading and spend the evening immersed in a good book, surrounded by like-minded women, soft jazz music, and a thoughtfully curated setting.

No assigned novel, no discussion prompts. Just an excuse to romanticise your weeknight, slow down, and get lost in the pages.

Once the reading hour is over, you’re welcome to stay and mingle or simply head home feeling a little more rested than when you arrived.

Your ticket includes

• 90 minutes of quiet, meditative reading with soft music, surrounded by like-minded women, followed by time to mingle and connect afterwards

• Complimentary bottle of Poco Vino wine on arrival, plus snacks to enjoy (non-alcoholic options also available)

• In partnership with HarperCollins, each guest will receive a newly released book to enjoy during the evening or take home afterwards, valued at $34.99.
