A fundraiser for Bi+ Pride Victoria: protecting the rights and improving the health and wellbeing of multi-gender attracted people across Victoria

Friends of Mamma Chen’s Community Cinema is proud to present a screening of The Mummy (1999), as a fundraiser in support of Bi+ Pride Victoria.

Stephen Sommers’ reimagining of the Universal classic The Mummy is an epic adventure set in 1920s Egypt with the talented, sexy, funny - and biconic - cast of Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, John Hannah, Oded Fehr, Patricia Velásquez and Arnold Vosloo. Basically if you’ve seen The Mummy before, it probably made you bi or pan. And if you are bi or pan, and you haven’t seen this film, you should come along because you are in for a treat!

Bi+ Pride Victoria is a volunteer organisation which works to protect the rights and improve the health and wellbeing of multi-gender attracted people across Victoria, Australia. SEATING

Seating is unallocated and will be on a first come, best seated basis, so please consider this in your plans. There will be limited beanbags available, and please feel free to bring your own cushions for additional comfort.We will also be opening up the bandroom door so that you can still view the film from the couch area of Mamma Chen’s if you require a sensory break.

 If you have specific seating requirements, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

- The screening will be open captioned for all attendees to enjoy.

- There is a video pinned to @mammachens instagram regarding accessible path & features of venue.

- The entrance of Mamma Chen's is on Albert St, with ramp access for mobility aids.

- There is an accessible parking spot and bathroom available.

- PLEASE TAKE A RAT TEST & MONITOR YOUR HEALTH BEFORE ATTENDING. WE WILL HAVE A AIR PURIFIER RUNNING IN THE BANDROOM. Masks are encouraged.
