Bladerunner-inspired shoot with Myka

Sat 19 Sep 3:30pm - 6:30pm

Ezymart Circular Quay, Sydney

Step into a cinematic Sydney where the future feels just a little bit dangerous.

As the sun begins to disappear, we’ll take to the exterior of the Sydney Opera House for a Blade Runner-inspired fashion photography workshop, working with a professional model against one of the world’s most iconic architectural backdrops.

Expect dramatic lines, moody shadows, reflective surfaces and the transition from golden hour into the electric atmosphere of Sydney at dusk. We’ll explore how to create images that feel like they belong in a futuristic neo-noir film — combining fashion, architecture, atmosphere and storytelling.

With the Opera House providing the perfect futuristic setting, the changing light will become part of the shoot as we move from warm sunset tones into the cooler, more cinematic ambience of evening.

What we’ll explore

Working with a model in an architectural environment

Creating cinematic, Blade Runner-inspired compositions

Using the Opera House’s geometric forms and textures

Shooting through reflections and natural foreground elements

Working with changing light as sunset approaches

Fashion posing and directing your model

Creating atmosphere and narrative within a single frame

Bring your camera, your imagination and your love of cinematic photography.

This is less about simply photographing a model and more about creating a world around them — futuristic, stylish, atmospheric and unmistakably Sydney.
