Before Leichhardt Oval closes for its biggest transformation in decades, Inner West Council is throwing one final FREE party and inviting everyone in the community to rock out on the hallowed field.

One Last Roar will bring live music to the turf of Leichhardt Oval for the very first time, with Australian rock royalty The Angels and The Superjesus leading a huge free community celebration on Saturday 19 September. The bill also features rising local favourites LAHGO and Good Pash, plus a special appearance from Oz Icons featuring rugby league legend Wayne Pearce.

Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) will be bringing high-flying action, big characters and spine-tingling athleticism to the pop-up wrestling ring.

With food trucks, cold bevvies, Inner West Rugby League Museum on display and the rare chance to rock out on the famous field, One Last Roar is both a farewell and a celebration of what is to come.

The oval may be preparing for redevelopment, but this is just the beginning of a new era where sport, music and live entertainment come together in the heart of the Inner West.
