What better way to celebrate Mahuru Māori these school holidays than with an interactive puppet show performance! This multi-medium show by String Bean Puppets bounces playfully between English and te reo Māori, while sharing important messages about caring for the natural world around us.

The story tells of Nan and Tuna, who have been friends for 70 years. Now it is time for one last adventure together, but before they leave they need to find someone to care for the river.

This free event will be held in the Visitor Centre foyer. Standard entry fees apply if entering the sanctuary. Members get free entry!
