In the old cosmologies, aether is the fifth element — the space through which everything else moves. Not solid, not liquid, not fire, not air, but the medium that carries sound itself.

It feels like the right inspiration for where we are. Winter asked the body to conserve and spring asks something different — for what’s been dormant to reorganise itself into movement again.

This is a sound journey held live by two guides who have weathered many a winter into spring together. Nic and Vanessa are musicians and parents whose chemistry extends beyond sound and into the realms of the spirit. A shamanic healing facilitator and Biofield Tuning practitioner who weave handpan, didgeridoo, sound bowls, and layered vocal soundscapes into a sonic masculine-feminine balance.The session will be opened with heart-expanding cacao followed by a short guided meditation for intention-setting before all tension is held in love, gently witnessed and unwound through sound journey.

Good to know

• Yoga mats, blankets, cushions and eye pillows are provided but if you prefer your own and anything that helps you get comfortable on the floor, please feel free to bring it along.

• Wear loose, warm clothing as the body tends to cool down during the session

• Come on an empty-ish stomach for the cacao if possible

• Arrive 15 minutes early to settle in before we begin

• Bring a journal and pen if it suits you to take quick post-session notes for later reflection
