At the conclusion of her exhibition Our Connection to the Natural World, local Whakatere Ashburton-based artist Heather Sarin will lead this introduction to using abstraction in art making. Taking the landscape as a starting point, this workshop will familiarise participants with a variety of techniques, including washes with black ink, drawing with charcoal and pencil, and painting with white acrylic to create unique works of art. A wonderful opportunity to loosen up and enjoy the freedom of self-expression.
