La Dispute perform material around their fifth studio album, No One Was Driving The Car. The Michigan post-hardcore group comprises Jordan Dreyer (vocals), Brad Vander Lugt (drums), Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino (guitars), and Adam Vass (bass). The album was produced entirely by the band and developed across Grand Rapids, Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Philippines. Its fourteen tracks confront existential unease, the search for security amid chaos, and technology’s role in an approaching-apocalypse malaise; its title was drawn from an account of a fatal self-driving Tesla crash.
