OPEN TABLES: NERD CAFÉ 🎲☕️

Bring a game, bring your crew or come alone and make some new friends. For one night, The Living Room is becoming an open-table gaming lounge built around one very simple idea: there’s always room at the table.

Bring your favourite board game or deck of cards, jump into a D&D table, trade cards, or bring along whatever craft project you currently have on the go. Coming solo is absolutely encouraged , we’ll help you find a table, join a game or settle in with something to do while you meet people you might never have crossed paths with otherwise.

The Living Room was created as a little experiment in what can happen when we make space for connection rather than consumption, and this night is exactly that: somewhere to hang out, play something, make something and hopefully meet some good humans along the way.

It’s a completely alcohol-free, family and community-friendly night, and teens ( with an adult ) are very welcome. We’ll have sweet treats, snacks, herbal teas, hot chocolates and soft drinks available to purchase throughout the evening.

Whether you’re deeply committed to a three hour board game, bringing your latest hyperfixation to the table, quietly crafting in the corner or just curious enough to wander in, there’s room for you.

Entry is completely free, but capacity is limited, so we do ask that you register for a free ticket to help us keep the room comfortable.
