Immerse yourself in the beauty and movement of the Murray River with Adelaide Ballet’s Murray Whispers: Dancing with the River.

Inspired by the essence of one of Australia’s most iconic waterways, this captivating 20-minute performance brings the river to life through dance and music. Choreographed by Rejane Garcia and Sarah Humeniuk, with an original score by Ashley Hribar, the work explores the river’s flowing currents, natural rhythms and enduring connection to the land.

Following the performance, children aged 5–12 are invited to take part in a creative dance workshop led by Adelaide Ballet. Inspired by the themes and movement of the production, children will have the opportunity to move, imagine and create their own journey along the river.

A special experience where young audiences can first watch professional dancers perform—and then join in the creativity themselves.
