📚 Monthly Book Group
Love books of all kinds? Our friendly book group has no set theme — just a chance to discover and chat about all sorts of wonderful reads.
Come along once a month to share what you’ve been reading, hear about other books, and enjoy a relaxed chat over coffee, tea and biscuits. Everyone is welcome!
These sessions will be facilitated by a Library staff member.
Group Guidelines:
The purpose of this book club is to read, enjoy and discuss literature. If you love books and enjoy sharing your thoughts, you’re in the right place!
Everyone is welcome to share their opinions and perspectives. You may not always agree with what someone else has said, and that’s okay. Please ensure that differing views are expressed and received respectfully.
Keep an open mind and appreciate the diverse opinions and experiences that each member brings to the group.
Inappropriate behaviour or language will not be tolerated.
Please avoid topics that may be inflammatory, upsetting or inappropriate for group discussion. Personal stories should be kept relevant to the book or discussion.
Be mindful of giving everyone an opportunity to contribute. Please share the conversation space equally and be conscious of how much time you spend speaking.
