A Colourful Storm proudly presents ๐๐ฎ๐ต๐น๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฎ ๐๐ธ๐ป๐ช and ๐๐ป๐ช๐ท๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ผ ๐๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ท๐ฎ's premiere duo performance.
Delphine Dora is a French composer, improviser, pianist and multi-instrumentalist who has been prolific for over two decades. She first appeared on micro-editions released on her own Wild Silence imprint and attracted like-minded souls around the world. Julia Holter named L'inattingible one of the best albums of the decade, while critics have compared her work to the likes of Meredith Monk and Brigitte Fontaine. A curious soul and keen collaborator, she has shared the stage with Keiji Haino, Valentina Magaletti, Andrew Chalk and many more.
Francis Plagne is an unsung hero of the Melbourne DIY underground, a musician who is equally at home with songwriting as improvisation. He has released solo and collaborative works on Black Truffle, Horn of Plenty, Kye, Penultimate Press and his own Mould Museum imprint, responsible for the wonderful Thanking You compilation, which featured Delphine Dora. The duo takes the stage together for the first time, following years of admiration.
