Immerse Lab with Amber McCartney

This workshop is an exploration of sensation and transformation through costume, character and physical modalities. We will uncover new movement possibilities by exploring the materiality of the body through guided improvisation and the creation of wearable objects. Rather than simply altering appearance, these objects generate new movement pathways and physical limitations, reshaping the body's language and opening space to explore hybrid, unfamiliar and seemingly impossible forms.

This Immerse Lab is presented in partnership with Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres
