Welcome to Lily Pad book Club, a Newcastle based book club hosting monthly events to discuss all things non fiction, classics, politics, and theory. A space to discuss everything from the writing style of Virginia Wolfe to the analysis of capitalism, all in good company and a drink in hand.

Event Description

Join us this September at Shout Brewing Co for our inaugural Book Club! This month we will be discussing Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. A dystopian novel set in a futuristic intelligence-based social hierarchy State with incredibly relevant themes like instant gratification, consumerism and individualism.

Bring along a pillow, grab a drink, and settle in for an evening of discussion with some fellow book lovers.
