Look up, Lithgow. We invite you to come together beneath the same sky that has watched over this land for countless generations, to remind us that even in challenging times, we are together.

For thousands of years, people have looked to the stars for guidance, inspiration and connection. Across cultures and generations, we have given the night sky different names and different stories – but we have always stood beneath the same stars.

In 2026, Lights Over Lithgow celebrates this shared connection through two spectacular drone light shows, combining Wiradjuri Culture and the Western Zodiac through storytelling, music and choreographed formations in the night sky.
