'Samhain' the Irish Celtic Festival which gave the world ‘Halloween’, will be celebrated in a magical evening of poetry, music and spooky stories.

Featuring the musicians and performers of the Prankqueans as well as special guest poet, Dr Robyn Rowland AO the Prankqueans will celebrate Samhain as the Irish Celtic festival that gave the world Halloween. Expect to be transported to otherworldly places by the Púca, a mythological creature who has a mischievous streak, ghost stories, poetry and music. The ancient Irish crone or Cailleach may also pay a visit to our festivities as we conjure up the spooky magic of Samhain.

If you are driving, parking is available under the library, with entry from Ebley Street. Parking is free for stays of up to 2 hours only. If you park for longer than 2 hours, the full parking fee will apply. To validate your free parking, please enter your number plate details on the iPad located on the wall next to the lift on the ground floor.
