KARIOI AND KAVA a showcase of talented Māori and Pasifika artists happening on the 24th of October/Labour weekend in Whāingaroa/Raglan at THE YARD BAR from 8pm - late.

On headline duties we have MELODOWNZ he is an award-winning Māori and Samoan artist, songwriter and creative from Avondale, West Auckland. For over a decade, he has been at the forefront of Aotearoa hip-hop, building a reputation as one of the country’s most respected wodsmiths through projects including Avontales, Melo & Blues, Melo & Bass, LONE WOLF and his latest album, BRON.

Rooted in Avondale, his Māori and Samoan heritage and his work within the community, MELODOWNZ continues to push Aotearoa hip-hop forward while keeping his storytelling grounded in home.

On opening duties we have the wonderfull Kanikani'ky, she will be setting the mood and helping you ease into the night with her sound of...
