Internationally renowned cellist Mischa Maisky returns to Melbourne for a much-anticipated recital, joined by his daughter, distinguished pianist Lily Maisky.

Celebrated for his rich, resonant tone, praised by BBC Music Magazine, and hailed by ABC Classic as “one of the most flamboyant and communicative personalities in classical music,” Mischa Maisky is admired for his emotional honesty, unmistakable intensity and scores of acclaimed recordings. As Rostropovich’s favourite student, he carries forward a remarkable musical legacy.
