Rivers flow through our landscapes, our communities and our stories.
To celebrate World Rivers Day, Riverina Highlands Landcare Network invites you to a free community screening of the acclaimed Australian documentary River at Tumut River Brewing Co.
Narrated by Willem Dafoe, River is a breathtaking cinematic and musical journey exploring the remarkable relationship between people and rivers. Filmed across six continents, the documentary celebrates the beauty, power and importance of rivers while reflecting on the pressures they face.
From the world’s great river systems to the rivers, creeks and wetlands of the Riverina Highlands, waterways sustain our wildlife, agriculture, communities and culture.
This special film night is an opportunity to come together, enjoy a visually spectacular documentary and reflect on the waterways that flow through our own landscapes and lives.
Whether you are a landholder, Landcare volunteer, environmental professional, community member or simply someone who cares about our waterways, you are warmly invited to join us.
