The Amazing Out Of Control Army Bring First Ever Australian Tour to the Servo in Port Kembla
Presented by Focus Group Music and Ska Nation, Mexico’s explosive ska force Out Of Control Army will bring their first ever Australian tour to Ballarat with a special performance at Volta on Friday October 16, 2026.
This landmark show gives local fans the chance to experience the amazing Out Of Control Army live for the first time, delivering the high-energy performance that has made them one of Latin America’s most exciting modern ska bands.
Formed in Mexico City in 2014, the amazing Out Of Control Army have earned an international reputation through their explosive mix of traditional ska rhythms, punk attitude, Latin fire and commanding brass arrangements. Their relentless touring, acclaimed live shows and powerful releases have built a loyal following around the world.
Their growing connection with Australia was strengthened during their successful 2024 Mexican tour with Melbourne Ska Orchestra. That experience helped inspire the band’s desire to tour Australia, with a special recording from that run due for release to coincide with these Australian dates.
Joining them are Melbourne ska favourites The Resignators. Formed in 2005, The Resignators are one of Australia’s most respected ska acts, known for energetic live shows, sharp songwriting and a horn-driven sound. Earlier in 2026, they performed with the amazing Out Of Control Army during a tour of Mexico, where the two bands formed a great friendship that now continues on Australian stages.
Fans can expect a massive night of brass, rhythm, dancing and international ska celebration.
The standard-bearers of modern ska in Mexico City, Out Of Control Army lives up to their name with their fiery, energetic performances. The band's furiously engaging shows have made them staples around their home country and large parts of the United States. Their incredibly fun reworking of the theme for animé Dragon Ball GT garnered widespread attention with over one million plays in its first week of release. This feat that has opened up a whole new audience, helping spread the word of ska to a wholly fresh audience. Note the perform in English and Spanish.
