Glenunga Hub - Margaret Room 2, Adelaide

Introductory Yin Yoga – Glenunga Hub

Take a moment to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

This gentle introductory Yin Yoga class is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to improve mobility, release tension, and support their overall wellbeing.

Yin Yoga is a slow, modern style of yoga that focuses on nourishing the body's connective tissues, fascia, joints, and ligaments through comfortable, floor-based postures held for several

minutes. Rather than flowing from pose to pose, you'll be invited to settle into each posture, allowing the body and mind to gradually soften into stillness.

The practice helps improve mobility, ease stiffness, calm the nervous system, and leave you feeling relaxed, grounded, and refreshed.

What to expect

Gentle & floor-based: Supported postures held for several minutes to target joints, ligaments, and fascia.

Nervous system reset: Slow, quiet practice designed to relieve stress and leave you feeling grounded.

For every body: Practical modifications provided for all mobility levels.

What to bring

Yoga mat (1 or 2 for extra padding)

Optional but recommended: bolster or firm cushion, blankets

Comfortable, warm clothing

A limited amount of yoga bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps will be available.
