Home Body - Outdoor Dance

Tue 27 Oct 7:30pm - 9pm

Direction stone, Bendigo

WHAT IS HOME BODY?

Home Body is an outdoor movement meditation dance enabling greater presence, creative possibility, awareness and aliveness.

Home Body is a silent space that invites a moving conversation with the nature without and within - the home that is our own bodies and this body of land. With gentle facilitation and a range of music, invitations are offered to harvest the wisdom in movement, the spaces between, and to listen to this land we call home.

Inspired by Open Floor embodiment and ecosomatic practices, Home Body is a chance to explore and express relationship and belonging through movement, dance and attuning to the 'natural world'.

WHY OUTDOORS?

Dancing outdoors creates unique opportunities to encounter our bodies in relationship to beautiful Djaara Country, as we tour through the natural flora and fauna we live with.

HOW DOES IT WORK OUTDOORS?

You will receive a headset to hear the music and facilitator's voice to support you in your dance. Some activities will involve headsets on and off. Please register as there is a limit of 28 headsets
