Creative Hands – Aboriginal Cultural Yarning Circle

At Artfest | Ages 5+ | $55 per person | 10–30 participants | 2‑hour session

Join Gomeroi artist Jody Trindall for a culturally grounded, hands‑on creative workshop held in a welcoming yarning‑circle environment. Yarning, talking, smiling and laughter are woven through the experience, making connection just as important as the craft itself. Depending on the age group, participants may explore traditional women’s basket‑weaving practices or create fun cultural craft pieces inspired by Jody’s heritage.

🖐️ What’s Included:

A yarning‑circle space for sharing stories, culture and creativity

Guided cultural craft activities suitable for the group

All materials provided

A supportive environment where creativity and connection flow together

“Creative Hands” celebrates the strength, skill and imagination held in our hands — and the special things they can create. Come say Yaama, meet Jody, and make something meaningful to take home.
