Boudicca + Ess-Em + Laura Panic and more

It's that time of year again where Jay Whalley & Jamie Hay put their noggins together and build a lineup of bands to see the year out.

This years Xmas Show will take the opportunity to help raise money for Newcastle's Food Not Bombs collective -a grassroots,

volunteer-run mutual aid group that shares free vegan meals and resources in the Newcastle area. All proceeds from the show will go to

Food Not Bombs

This year Jay & Jamie have put together a cover band with friends Kye Smith (Local Resident Failure) & Will Mitchell (Melvic Centre). Tastefully

named "Thirsty Merkin", this "for one night only" cover band will blast some classic Aus pub rock classics, timeless bangers, obscure

as well as much loved punk anthems. They will be joined by special guests during their set so do not miss this hootenanny!

Joining the festivities are local skull crushers BOUDICCA, who recently released an incredible ep titled "Wretched". The folk/punk/pop group Ess-Em from Gadigal/Sydney

will make the trip up and join the party. Also on the lineup we have the pummeling No Wave / Noise Rock powerhouse laurapanic, the fun garage/indie rock locals

The Pee Wee 50's, Joint Pains will provide power pop tunes to what ails ya and finally Wire Knives will open proceedings with their teeth shattering rock n roll.

Doors are at 5:30pm so get along early and support a great cause
