Schools Spectacular: Original brings together more than 5,500 students from New South Wales public schools in a professional production of music, song and dance. The annual event celebrates youth, education, culture, diversity and young Australian talent. Its 2026 theme centres on artistic excellence, creativity and collaboration, with students championing fresh ideas, innovation and individuality. SpecFest, a free outdoor pre-show festival, provides additional entertainment before the arena performance.
