Forty Years of the Wangaratta Art Gallery

In 2027, Wangaratta Art Gallery celebrates 40 years of collecting, exhibiting and championing contemporary art. To mark this milestone, the Gallery will publish Collected Threads—a limited-edition publication showcasing works from this significant collection.

The publication will celebrate the Gallery’s deep connection to north-east Victoria and its nationally significant contemporary textile collection, shaped through the Wangaratta Contemporary Textile Award, Australia’s most significant acquisitive award for textile practice.
