Columbus, Ohio singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Johnny Franck brings Bilmuri’s hybrid of alternative-rock hooks, heavy-metal riffing, emo introspection and country-inflected style. The project began with the independent Jaguar Shark EP in 2016 and has since included releases such as Eggy Pocket and Goblin Hours. Its 2026 album KINDA HARD is presented as a heavier, more melodic and lyrically deeper follow-up, with a characteristically Bilmuri approach. Earlier material from AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS includes “EMPTYHANDED,” featuring Dylan Marlowe, and “BETTER HELL (Thicc boi).”
